We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Social Work Assistant Team Managers to grow and develop with us in our drive to deliver the best possible service for our young residents with disabilities.

About the Job:

Assistant Team Manager – Children With Disabilities 0-25

Salary – (Grade 9): £38,229 - £45,666 (£47,544 unconsolidated maximum through progression)

The Disabled children and young people service 0-25 is a and committed team.  It benefits from clear management and regular supervision, stable workforce, manageable caseloads, and effective partnerships with Education and Health.  

The team is supported with access to a wide range of resources both within Sutton and through the commissioning and is committed to supporting disabled and young people in Sutton.

In 2013 the team was praised by Ofsted for creative work and positive outcomes with young people and they were also specifically praised by Ofsted 2016 for a service that is sensitive to their needs, with effective safeguarding - including siblings and using their experience and knowledge in detailed assessments alongside imaginative practice.

About You:

We welcome applications from experienced Social Workers and Managers who are able to show initiative, an ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales; and who can develop our services to an outstanding standard. A full range of legislative knowledge that applies to Children With Disabilities will be essential. You will be highly organised and have strong written and analytical skills.
