Fostering Engagement and Recruitment Manager

Salary – (Grade 9): £39,774 - £47,511 (£49,464 unconsolidated maximum through performance-related progression)

Sutton’s Fostering Team is looking for an experienced Fostering Manager to develop and deliver the foster care engagement and recruitment plan, overseeing and monitoring the assessment process, from initial enquiry to presentation at fostering panel.


Working alongside the Campaign team developing and leading on a strategy to attract new high-quality foster carers, the successful candidate will liaise with recruitment partners to deliver this plan and resolve problems whilst engaging with the community to promote fostering in Sutton.  Working under the Fostering Team manager overseeing, managing and quality assuring new foster carers assessments and the recruitment process the manager also acts as panel advisor to the fostering panel.


About You:


We welcome applications from individuals with a recognised Social Work qualification, who are HCPC registered and who are enthusiastic about fostering and recruitment.


This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to the lives of Sutton’s looked after children. Applicants will need significant and relevant experience in fostering, good knowledge of the fostering recruitment process, experience of project management in the fostering field and developing recruitment strategies with excellent communication skills and good networking skills. Candidates must be driven and be able to work autonomously
