Grade 7: £29,766 - £35,724 per annum, pro rata (£37,842 unconsolidated maximum, achievable through performance-related progression)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of Work: Full-time post (36 hours per week)
Location: Civic Offices

You will be based in the Council’s newly formed Procurement and Contracts Team in the Commissioning Unit whose purpose is to lead and deliver the Council's approach to Outcome Based Commissioning, and to provide high quality support, advice and assurance for the rest of the Council to enable it to deliver its wider responsibilities.

This role will provide commissioning support for discrete services as well as commissioning outcomes across a broad range of thematic services. Reporting to the Senior Commissioning Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a high quality Commissioning Support service to enable the delivery of commissioning and market development activities across the Unit.

You will work as a flexible resource across the team with the responsibility for delivery of projects assigned to the team.

The post holder will require;

Excellent IT skills that have been successfully used to deliver projects and project outcomes
A proven ability to gather, analyse, interpret and present data in a way that allows for the management of performance and quality assurance of external providers.
Be able to demonstrate good organisational skills including the ability to successfully manage several tasks to a successful outcome

It is desirable that the post holder will have a basic knowledge of procurement.
