Salary Grade 4 £21,276 - £23,802 per annum pro rata (with earning potential to unconsolidated rate £24,510 based on performance) (starting salary £14,775)
Permanent contract, 25hrs per week

The Support & Inclusion Team provides a flexible community support service for people who have learning disabilities and multiple complex needs. From its service base at the Sutton Inclusion Centre the Team enables people to improve their health and wellbeing, maximise their abilities and independence, and integrate into their local community.

We currently have vacancies for Community Support Workers and are looking to recruit to these posts on a part-time basis to meet the demands of the service at peak periods and work flexibly to support people to achieve their personal objectives.

We are looking to recruit 3 staff able to each work 25hrs per week.
(An example of current shift patterns are 8am – 1pm, 11.30am – 4.30pm or 9- 4.30pm Mon-Fri)

Support Workers provide the majority of direct support to the people that use the service in line with each person’s individual support plan. In their Key Worker role they will take an active role in helping make sure the service remains person centred and will contribute to the individual service planning process with support from a Deputy Manager.

All London Borough of Sutton staff are expected to adhere to the Borough’s Equality and Diversity Policy and be willing to implement and promote the Borough’s Core Values, Health and Safety Policy and all other relevant policies and procedures including confidentiality. Staff must also be willing to participate in and attend team meetings, supervision and appraisals and undertake training as required to ensure their skills continue to meet the changing demands of the post.
