Previous work experience is not essential. We are looking for people with drive, enthusiasm, the right attitude and some core skills such as communication skills, team player and ICT skills. You must also have the commitment to complete the training and qualifications associated with the apprenticeship.

In return, what we can offer you is:

• The opportunity to learn from experienced staff working within a high performing and widely respected Council
• Further, develop your communications skills by interacting with your own team but with colleagues and staff in other parts of the organisation.
• Working in an organisation passionate about offering excellent, customer-focused services.

We are fully committed to providing opportunities for people to develop themselves, through real and varied job roles across the Council. Apprenticeships combine working with studying for a work-based qualification. The length of the apprenticeship programme varies according to the type and level of apprenticeship but all apprenticeships take at least a year to complete.
