Commissioning Manager (Sexual Health and Substance Misuse)
Grade 9 salary: £39,774 - £47,511 per annum (£49,464 unconsolidated maximum achievable through performance related progression)
Contract status: Permanent 
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Location: Civic Offices

Playing a key role in our Commissioning Team, as a Commissioning Manager, you will support and lead all aspects of the commissioning cycle, with a particular focus on Sexual Health Services and Substance Misuse Services.

This role will be responsible for leading on the contract management of the integrated Sexual Health Service, working with partners across London to inform and develop the local Sexual Health Services and lead on the commissioning of the substance misuse service - which will be from needs assessment, through to procurement and contract management. The role will also be working across the team, to identify and develop potential opportunities for integrating ways of delivering services and achieving outcomes.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Can remain focused on the outcomes, and identify the opportunities and potential for integrated working;
  • Has previous experience of commissioning and contract managing Sexual Health Services and Substance Misuse Services and who is also interested in developing their commissioning skills to different areas of the Council;
  • Can work within a small team, and be prepared to work on a range of services and topics;
  • Is able to work with a range of partners, is collaborative, engaging and has a strong track record of co-design and co-production.
